One of the most common excuses people give for not exercising is that they are too busy. This is complete rubbish and I am going to explain why with 5 ways you can fit exercise into a busy schedule.

The first way to fit exercise into a busy schedule is to have an active commute. The is where you walk, jog or cycle to work/ School/ Uni instead of driving or getting the bus. This is a great way to get your cardio in and it saves on expensive travel and petrol.

Take the stairs instead of using escalators or lifts, this will increase your general activity levels as well as increasing the number of calories you burn throughout the day.

set an alarm and get up earlier. If you’re serious about exercising you will make time for exercise. Getting up earlier will give you more time to workout.

  1. Spend less time looking at screens

The final tip of 5 ways to fit exercise into a busy schedule is to spend less time sat at a computer or looking at your phone. We are all guilty of spending too much time surfing the internet or playing on our smartphones. The time we spend doing this is time we could be working out.
